ITSEC Asia Partners with PT INTI to Strengthen Cybersecurity and AI Talent Development

PT ITSEC Asia Tbk (ITSEC Asia) (IDX: CYBR) is strengthening its strategic collaboration with PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) (PT INTI) to support the development of Indonesia's national cybersecurity capabilities. The partnership covers the development of cybersecurity solutions and services, support for Security Operations Center (SOC) capabilities and skills development in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (AI).

The collaboration was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ITSEC Asia and PT INTI, as well as an MoU between PT INTI and PT ITSEC Cyber Academy (ITSEC Cyber & AI Academy), a subsidiary of ITSEC Asia focused on cybersecurity and AI education, training and skills development. The signing took place at PT INTI's headquarters in Bandung, West Java, on 23 July 2026.

Through this partnership, ITSEC Asia will bring its cybersecurity experience and capabilities to explore opportunities with PT INTI, particularly in supporting the needs of state-owned enterprises and government institutions. The collaboration also creates opportunities to develop cybersecurity capabilities that combine technology solutions, technical expertise and human capital development.

Patrick Dannacher, President Director of ITSEC Asia, said, "The need for cybersecurity capabilities in Indonesia continues to grow as digital technology becomes more widely adopted across sectors. Organizations need the ability to protect their infrastructure and data while ensuring they have the right people to manage those security capabilities. Through our collaboration with PT INTI, we want to explore how ITSEC Asia's experience and expertise in cybersecurity can support the needs of state-owned enterprises and government institutions while creating opportunities to further develop cybersecurity solutions and capabilities in Indonesia."

Expanding Access to Cybersecurity Solutions and Expertise

Through its collaboration with PT INTI, ITSEC Asia will support the development of opportunities in cybersecurity solutions and services, including the exploration of Security Operations Center (SOC) capabilities.

ITSEC Asia will provide solutions, products, technology, technical expertise and services based on the requirements of agreed projects. This support may include technical consulting, solution development, Proof of Concept (PoC), product demonstrations, implementation, technical support and knowledge transfer.

PT INTI, meanwhile, will support business development opportunities and engagement with prospective customers and strategic partners, particularly across state-owned enterprises, provincial governments and local governments. The collaboration will also explore the use of space at PT INTI's headquarters to support cybersecurity training activities and the development of related cybersecurity and SOC facilities.

"Cybersecurity has become a fundamental part of digital transformation. Through our collaboration with ITSEC Asia, PT INTI aims to strengthen national capabilities by providing more comprehensive cybersecurity solutions while building an ecosystem that can address the needs of government institutions, state-owned enterprises and industries over the long term," said Herry Jasman, Director of PT INTI (Persero).

Strengthening Cybersecurity and AI Skills

The collaboration between ITSEC Asia and PT INTI is further supported by the role of ITSEC Cyber & AI Academy in developing cybersecurity and AI skills.

Under the partnership, ITSEC Cyber & AI Academy will support the development and delivery of training, education, workshops, seminars and skills development programs in cybersecurity and AI. These programs will be developed based on organizational needs and opportunities identified jointly with PT INTI.

ITSEC Cyber & AI Academy will support the development of curricula, training materials and modules, while providing the experts, infrastructure and platforms required to deliver the programs. PT INTI will support the identification of program opportunities and engagement with prospective customers and strategic partners, including within the state-owned enterprise and government sectors.

"The demand for talent with cybersecurity and AI capabilities continues to grow, while organizations also need skills that match their specific challenges and operational requirements. Talent development therefore needs to be grounded in real-world needs and go beyond theoretical learning. Through this collaboration, ITSEC Cyber & AI Academy aims to support the development of more relevant and practical training and skills programs, giving participants capabilities they can apply in the workplace. We hope our collaboration with PT INTI will create more opportunities for state-owned enterprises and government institutions to strengthen their human resources capabilities in cybersecurity and AI," said Yulius C. Rusli, President Director of ITSEC Cyber & AI Academy.

Bringing Technology and Talent Together to Strengthen Cybersecurity

For ITSEC Asia, the partnership expands opportunities to support organizations in Indonesia through an approach that combines cybersecurity technology with skills development.

The collaboration provides an initial framework for ITSEC Asia, PT INTI and ITSEC Cyber & AI Academy to explore and develop opportunities in cybersecurity and skills development. The implementation of projects and the technical, financial and commercial aspects of any agreed opportunities will be governed by separate agreements.

"This collaboration also supports ITSEC Asia's commitment to continuing the development of Indonesia's cybersecurity and AI ecosystem. We believe strengthening cybersecurity requires collaboration between technology companies, industry and institutions with the capabilities to develop skilled talent. Together with PT INTI we want to explore opportunities that can make a tangible contribution to strengthening cybersecurity & AI talent capabilities in Indonesia through ITSEC Cyber & AI Academy" Patrick concluded.

The core of the event was an Executive Tabletop Exercise, a structured, scenario-based crisis simulation designed to place decision-makers inside a realistic cyberattack scenario and test their responses in real time. The exercise unfolded across five progressive stages, moving participants from threat landscape awareness through hands-on incident workshops and into full-scale crisis simulations. Each stage built on the last, challenging executives to think collaboratively, make high-stakes
