ITSEC Asia Launches Bronyx AI, a World-Class Penetration Testing Platform

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is accelerating the pace of technology development, but the same capabilities are also enabling cyberattacks to become faster and more automated. As digital systems evolve at unprecedented speed, organizations face increasing pressure to ensure their security testing can keep up with rapidly changing technologies and threats.

Addressing this challenge, PT ITSEC Asia Tbk (ITSEC Asia) (IDX: CYBR), one of Indonesia's leading cybersecurity and AI companies, today officially launched Bronyx AI, an AI-assisted automated penetration testing platform developed in Indonesia to help organizations complete security testing in hours while retaining the expertise and oversight of cybersecurity professionals.

The launch event, held in Jakarta on Wednesday (15 July), was attended by Edwin Hidayat Abdullah, Director General of Digital Ecosystem at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia; Sonny Hendra Sudaryana, Director of Digital Ecosystem Development at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs; and Yudho Giri Sucahyo, Member of the Ethics Council of the Indonesian Fintech Association (AFTECH).

During the event, speakers discussed the rapid advancement of AI, emerging cybersecurity challenges and the importance of collaboration between government, regulators and industry in strengthening Indonesia's digital ecosystem. ITSEC Asia also demonstrated how Bronyx AI leverages AI agents throughout the security testing process.

The launch of Bronyx AI marks ITSEC Asia's expansion from cybersecurity services into AI technology development. Drawing on more than 16 years of cybersecurity experience, over 400 cybersecurity personnel and operations across multiple international markets, ITSEC Asia developed Bronyx AI based on challenges its teams have encountered while conducting real-world penetration testing engagements.

Bronyx AI uses AI agents to perform security assessments on authorized systems, covering network reconnaissance, vulnerability assessment, configuration review, web application and API testing, as well as the generation of Security Assessment Reports complete with CVSS scoring and remediation recommendations.

Unlike conventional vulnerability scanners that primarily identify vulnerabilities, Bronyx AI's AI agents actively analyze assessment results and provide recommendations for the next testing actions. In testing conducted within ITSEC Asia's development laboratory, Bronyx AI completed Full Scans in as little as 14 minutes, with total assessment times ranging from 14 minutes to 4 hours, depending on the scope and complexity of the systems being tested.

Combining AI Speed with Cybersecurity Expertise

Bronyx AI applies a Human in the Loop (HITL) approach at designated stages of the assessment process to maintain the quality of its findings. High and critical-risk findings are validated by ITSEC Asia consultants before reports are delivered to customers.

The platform also generates Security Assessment Reports based on the reporting standards used throughout ITSEC Asia's penetration testing services. This approach enables AI to increase the speed and breadth of security assessments while ensuring cybersecurity professionals remain involved wherever expert analysis, contextual understanding and professional judgment are required.

Securing Customer Data

Every Bronyx AI assessment is performed only on assets that have received written authorization and within an agreed testing scope. The platform currently supports testing for web applications, APIs and defined network ranges.

Each customer's assessment data is stored in isolation, while keys and credentials are encrypted. Assessment data is never used to train AI models without the customer's written consent. Bronyx AI can be deployed through cloud-based services or within a customer's own environment to meet organizations with stricter security and data governance requirements.
