ITSEC Asia Strengthens Indonesia’s Cybersecurity Through Talent Development & AI Solutions

ITSEC Asia reaffirmed the importance of accelerating cybersecurity talent development in Indonesia through direct support for Firoos Ghathfaan Ramadhan, a 14-year-old student from Subang who recently identified a security vulnerability in a global platform.

Amid rising cyber threats and rapidly evolving industry demands, the emergence of young talents like Firoos highlights Indonesia’s strong potential to compete on the global stage. Realizing that potential, however, requires sustained and meaningful support.

As part of the Cyber Talent Program, ITSEC Asia provided essential tools to support Firoos’s ongoing research and technical development. The initiative reflects the company’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of cybersecurity professionals in Indonesia.

President Director of ITSEC Asia, Patrick Dannacher, noted that the challenge in cybersecurity today goes beyond technology and increasingly centers on talent readiness. “We often talk about cyber threats, but far less about talent readiness. The reality is, many young Indonesians are already performing at a global level. What remains to be built is an ecosystem that consistently supports their growth,” he said.

This initiative also aligns with ITSEC Asia’s broader commitment through its subsidiary, ITSEC Cyber & AI Academy, which focuses on bridging the gap between industry needs and talent readiness. Through training and development programs, ITSEC Cyber & AI Academy plays a role in strengthening the foundation of Indonesia’s cybersecurity ecosystem.

A Strategic Step in Building a Resilient, Adaptive and Sustainable Cybersecurity Ecosystem in Indonesia

At the same event, ITSEC Asia also introduced initiatives focused on the development of AI-driven cybersecurity solutions designed to support a more adaptive and autonomous digital defense system. The initiative reflects the company’s focus on building a cybersecurity ecosystem that is driven not only by technology, but also by local talent and capabilities.

ITSEC Asia also introduced the continued development of IntelliBroń Aman through its Enterprise and School versions to support digital protection needs across business and educational sectors through a more centralized and adaptive security approach. IntelliBroń Aman itself has been downloaded more than 200,000 times, reflecting the company’s broader commitment to developing digital security solutions that are relevant to the needs of various sectors in Indonesia.

For ITSEC Asia, technological advancement and talent development go hand in hand in strengthening national digital resilience. Through this approach, the company views the development of the AI and cybersecurity ecosystem as a long-term investment for Indonesia’s digital future.

In closing, Patrick Dannacher expressed optimism about the future of Indonesia’s cyber talent. “We believe the future of cybersecurity and AI in Indonesia will be shaped by the young talents of today. Our hope is that more young generations will have the opportunity to grow, innovate, and contribute to strengthening the nation’s digital resilience.”

ITSEC Asia Brings National Cyber Resilience Initiative to East Indonesia

As cyber threats continue to escalate across Indonesia, cyber crisis preparedness has become an increasingly important issue for business leaders and decision-makers. Throughout 2025, Indonesia's National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) recorded more than 5.16 billion anomalous traffic events and indicators of suspicious cyber activity requiring further attention. The figures highlight that the ability to respond effectively to cyber incidents is just as critical as prevention itself. To help strengthen this capability, PT ITSEC Asia Tbk (ITSEC Asia) (IDX: CYBR), together with the Indonesian Digitalization and Cybersecurity Association (ADIGSI), brought the National Cyber Resilience Movement (GNKS) Roadshow to Makassar in Thursday, 25 June 2026. The event gathered industry leaders, cybersecurity professionals, and stakeholders to enhance organizational readiness against a wide range of cyber crisis scenarios. Held at Novotel Makassar Grand Shayla, the program featured an Executive Tabletop Exercise designed to give decision-makers practical exposure to cyber incident management. The session forms part of the broader National Cyber Resilience Movement being conducted throughout 2026. Previously, GNKS also was held in Banten on 30
